Post apocalyptic wasteland. What else could you ask for.
I am always drawn to these kind of stories, the lone warrior on a mission. This book has the tough, almost super human, killing skills of a tried and true assassin. He has a mission, and he executes that mission with extreme prejudice. His killing skills are not contested by any of the wastelanders he runs into. What I found interesting about his tale is that most of the good deeds he does along the way are not out of a sense of morality, but are out of dealing with things that get in his way. He may save someone, but only because it fits his needs at the time. He definitely is on a mission, you don’t know about it till later in the book.
