Darpa using nature as a template for chemical sensors

Darpa is awarding about $6 million to a company that is trying to use a design inspired by butterfly wings to detect chemicals. They obviously want this to help detect bombs and toxic chemicals. I love that as technology gets better to detect insects and how they are structured, we better other technologies by observation.
