This is an older article on Maximum PC so I am finally clearing out my backlog of articles I found interesting.

It wasn’t that long ago that these kind of articles were being written about Microsoft’s products and how you can run away from them.  It is pretty telling of the size that Google is becoming that these types of articles are cropping up.  With all the other stuff going on between Facebook and Google about data we are seeing anti-Facebook sentiment come forward.  You also have Apple vs Adobe, well it is Apple vs the World really.  It just is testament that as you get bigger these are the issues you run into.  Microsoft was vilified heavily because it was a trend setter.  Also they had some pretty nasty business practices to boot. 

I don’t know what to expect, but whatever it is, it will be fun to see the internet tree shake.
