It seems that scientists have been doing some prototyping with cloaking devices.  Now they are dealing with optical fibers, so we are talking some serious time before we have our invisibility cloak, or a watch that can stop time while we pull the pants down of our friends to embarrass them. 

Amazing stuff they are doing.  I am sure that DARPA is involved somehow with these types of projects, just wonder what the real world implementation of these technologies will be.  What haven’t we thought of that someone will.
