So, it has been a long couple of weeks.  Worst is I cannot complain that much since most of it has been pretty good. 

I have been quite busy is all I can say.  First guy trip with friends and then had family in town.  All of that was excellent so nothing wrong with all that.

But…. A few days ago I have over one of my best friends for a cigar and drinks, so I pour a cup of the Strawberry Pale Ale from the recently cleaned kegerator (which took a ton of time I will say) and he spits it out saying it is warm.  So it turns out the homebrew I made has been sitting in a warm kegerator for who knows how long.  That sucks.  Not sure what I can do about it I l go to bed. 

So then I am not sleeping well so I decide to put the keg in the freezer I have for fermenting lagers only to find out the freezer is dead also.  Really? Really, now?  Two down and none working? Well, ok.  So I put some ice in the freezer in an effort to save the homebrew.  We will determine if it saves the homebrew later.  So now we have to take my two wayward fridges to Mexico to get fixed next time we go.  I really don’t want to have to buy another kegerator if I can fix this one.  I guess this is this is the price of not using and turning off the freezers for long periods of time.

Beyond all that, having very few ways to save my homebrew is very depressing.  It has not been a good start to my homebrewing revival, but I am going to persevere.  We will get the groove back.
