So it was announced today at E3 about CCP’s new game Dust 514.   What they announced pissed me off more than anything.  They have partnered with Sony to only have this game on PS3. 

Ok, I have to back up and explain what this game really is.  First of all it is a FPS set in the EVE Online persistent world.   So you will be able to play in the same world as the EVE Online MMO players.  The Dust players will be the ground pounders to the EVE Online players who will be the space navy. It has epic playability written all over it.

Now back to the news from E3:

  So to recap if you didn’t watch the video. THEY ARE ONLY OFFERING ON THE FRIGGIN PS3.  WHY?????  It sucks that they are not going to release this on even the PC.  I don’t understand their move and I hope it sinks the game enough that they decide to release it on other platforms.  I think the concept is epic, just the decision to only offer it to PS3 is stupid.  I wish them luck.
